Here are the steps you can take to keep your plant happy and healthy, whether it’s a soft pink Grandiflora or a hybrid tea rose:

• Make sure your rose plant gets plenty of sun: about 6 hours a day is ideal.

• Place the rose plant in a bright, indirectly lit spot.

• Roses prefer loamy, well-drained soil. Ensure the planter has drainage holes.
