It’s a DIY planter, without soil

"The package arrived one day late. Upon unboxing, I realize that I had four individual plants that were individually wrapped and a planter container. It’s like the plant version of build-a-bear. No matter, I removed each plant from their plastic and brown paper bag. I then placed them inside of the planter container and quickly realize that I did not have enough soil to sustain growth, let alone life.
If I knew I paid $90 for a DIY project that required soil from the store, I would have just bought a finished/complete planter from the store and saved money, time, and a huge mess.
